We Address the “Kitchen Gap”

Despite the abundance of a $1.5 trillion food industry, 6.8 million Americans go without anything to eat for more than a day. Many don’t just lack food—they lack access to kitchens, storage, or safe places to prepare meals, revealing a critical “Kitchen Gap” that traditional food assistance programs weren’t built to solve.

To truly address hunger, we must tackle both sides of the equation: the gap in access and the erosion of community infrastructure. That means creating solutions that restore dignity to those facing food insecurity while also sustaining the small businesses that serve them.

100% of recurring monthly donations are used to distribute the tokens to those in need through our local teams and community partners. Your support directly assists individuals facing hunger, ensuring a meaningful impact on people living with food insecurity.

Purchasing Breadcoins, whether for your personal use or to give away, is a simple yet impactful way for individuals and organizations to be part of this network and make a tangible impact. You help us in destigmatizing hunger and supporting local vendors. Everyone in the community can use Breadcoins.

Redeem

Participating food vendors accept Breadcoins as a form of payment and are promoted and celebrated. The coins function like a community-wide gift certificate. Each month a Breadcoin representative picks up the coins, and 100% of the value is deposited into your business’ bank account without any fees.
