Breadcoin, launched in DC back in 2016 in the Union Station neighborhood, has expanded its reach to all of Washington, DC, and to the surrounding counties including Montgomery County, MD; Prince George’s County, MD; Arlington County, VA; and Alexandria City, VA. By destigmatizing hunger and fostering unity, Breadcoin serves as a powerful reminder that we can still bridge divides in our community. Whether in Northwest or Southeast DC, the same coins are being used to ensure that everyone has a seat at the table.
